Michele is a Registered Nurse and certified through the International Childbirth Educators Association (ICEA). She has been teaching Childbirth Education since 1986 and currently teaches classes in Phoenix, Arizona. During her seventh pregnancy, she contacted me (BeHereSoon.com) about using the Maternity Comfort Bed for a camping trip. On September 5, 2001, The Gentle Air Maternity Air bed was featured on the ABC/KNXV-TV week day morning show: "Sonoran Living." Kim Dillon, who is a co-host and one of the show's featured reporters, interviewed the designer of the bed, Dr. Harry Watters. Kim was 6 month's pregnant at the time and writes, "Thank-you so much for the use of your mattress. Many times, your bed was the only way I could get comfortable. It seems to really distribute the weight evenly."

"I have really enjoyed my air bed. It is very comfortable and before I became pregnant I have always slept on my tummy. I tried sleeping on my sides, but it was uncomfortable and would hurt my hips. Before the air bed, I was trying different ways to sleep and it was nearly impossible to get comfortable. I bought my bed pretty early in my pregnancy, and it has been great to adjust the middle part for the size of my tummy. I have also been able to sleep on my sides as well as my tummy. It gives in enough to not hurt my hips at all. I found out about the bed in a Fit Pregnancy Magazine. Although, there are many pregnant women out there that are not getting any good sleep and have never heard of this product. The bed is easy to deflate and inflate for trips, but the first trip I went on after I bought the bed, I decided not to take it (why, I don't quite know) but I was so miserable. Ever since then I take my bed everywhere. Thank you for making the bed. It has helped me a great deal.
